Why, looky here! Looks like the FBI snagged themselves Warren Jeffs.

You don't know how pleased this makes me. Well, maybe you do. Currently the heriditary leader of Utah's very own Taliban, the FLDS church, Jeffs has a lot to answer for.

For those of you just joining us, perhaps you'd care to look at these past rants on the matter. I'd say more but I have to move my car before work.

Well hopefully that'll be at least one strike *for* justice. :-)

Nothing makes me happier than to see tyrants like these arrested. The great irony is that the reason he was pulled over is because a trooper noticed there were no license plates on his vehicle. Once pulled over, the officer discovered more than $50,000 in cash, four laptops, a fancy GPS system, several Rolex watches, and other valuables. He was quickly identified as the fugitive, Warren Jeffs, and arrested immediately.

People in the Fundamentalist LDS Church pay tithing too... but in the tyrannical rein of their sect, tithing is 100% of everything they earn. The Church leadership is who determines your status in their organization. If you are favored by them, you will do well. If you are on their bad side, than life is difficult. The leadership can even banish members at will.

It is a terrible, terrible organization, and I'm ecstatic to see the possibility of some bit of justice brought against Warren Jeffs. The crimes he has committed are absolutely horrific.

Just as bad is Fred Phelps, the Baptist Minister that heads up the Westboro Baptist Church. I wish he could be arrested too. He's a story for another time, though.

I am a very forgiving person, but I hate both Warren Jeffs and Fred Phelps. This world would have been a better place without their conception... at least, based on the decisions and actions they have taken.

The sad truth is that either of them could have been very effective at what they did in a good way if they took a positive approach to life.

Anyway, I'm very, very glad to hear that Jeffs has been arrested.

Is there any truth to the notion that

Dr. Phil and his son Jay were responsible for Warren Jeff's apprehension?
